saucer sonics - software for the sonification of UFOs

I wanted to share this piece in light of the Pentagon releasing and acknowledging official video footage of flying saucers this past summer. I built software using Max/Msp to analyze the data of these blurry UFO videos & convert them to sonic frequencies.

When performed, the audio is transmitted over a radio broadcast and those radio waves travel beyond the borders of this planet and outward into space, indefinitely.

How do we make sense of this data? What can sound reveal that visuals do not? What do these unknown objects sound like? Does hyper-analysis of this footage get us any closer to some kind of “truth?”
